Riverwalk is a residential state in Werribee, Victoria, with its first land release back in 2014. Furphy Foundry is proud to be associated with this estate, which late last year sold an entire stage (25A) of 21 lots in two weeks.
Many of Furphy’s earlier implements had a large content of wood built into them, for example, the water cart shafts and bearers, stripper chassis, hopper frame and importantly the patterns for foundry products.
Furphy Foundry and the Queensland township of Mount Morgan were both founded in the late 1800s, so it seems fitting that Furphy products are prominent additions to the recent $2.4 million upgrade to the gold mining town’s streetscape.
According to the Keep Australia Beautiful Litter Index, Australia’s rates of litter are dropping each year, and its encouraging to read that recreation parks are amongst the cleanest of public areas in the country. Litter and recycling receptacles no doubt play a large part.
