When you promote your region as the “Festival City”, preparations are required.
Furphy came to the party recently, by providing eight new litter receptacles and wall mounted cigarette canisters for the Maribyrnong City Council.
The Litter and Recycling Receptacles were installed throughout the heavily used Nicholson Mall of Footscray, in the region which hosts a different festival or major event almost every weekend.
With festivals – such as the Stony Creek Music Festival, Shakespeare in the Park and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival – comes extra demand for public facilities.
The Furphy-manufactured Litter Receptacles installed are all 120 litre, manufactured from stainless steel, and modified from the standard Metro style with a laser-cut triangular pattern, reflective of the Maribyrnong City Council’s logo.
They feature a cast aluminium frame, a lockable door entry, mill finish and bolt-down installation – practical, smart and secure.
The wall-mounted cigarette canisters are polished stainless steel.
