With several thousand people calling Willowdale home, including many families, the Furphy Foundry furniture installed in the newly opened Jamboree Park will be much appreciated by locals.
Two Furphy Metro Picnic Settings and Avenue Litter Receptacles were installed in the park, which also include adventure elements for children and a “relaxation station” for the parents.
The stylish Picnic Setting and Litter Receptacle, all delivered and installed according to the landscaper’s timeframe, is accompanied in the neighbourhood park by a Barbecue, a Shelter and also a restroom. Furphy worked with three different contractors to deliver the product on site.
The Metro features cast aluminium construction and hardwood timber slats (with an option of aluminium slats now available) and are fixed with a concealed bolt down attachment.
Wheelchair access is also available in the Metro range.
With its striking timber finish, the Avenue Litter surround is the perfect match for the Metro Picnic Setting.
Willowdale is a new housing estate in the south-western Sydney suburb of Leppington, which boasts two district and five local parks, including a three-hectare regional park ideal for children, with flying foxes, water play area and a small amphitheatre.
Furphy’s products are an ideal match for the relaxed, café-style village-feel of Willowdale.
