Located on the leafy banks of the Yarra River Bend, the Fairfield Park Boathouse is one of Melbourne’s favourite family destinations.
Rich in history, the Fairfield Park Boathouse area has been utilised by the local community and tourists for over 100 years.
Recently, Furphy Foundry manufactured a set of eight Park Lane Picnic Settings with timber slat table-tops for the public area next to the Boathouse.
Two of the picnic settings supplied were extended to allow for larger groups (such as school excursions, large families etc.) and the other six were supplied as standard.
The results are excellent – unifying the heritage of the public space with the facilities.
