Furphy built and installed these seven unique Benches and Seats at the $8.9 million Westall Community Hub in Clayton South for the City of Kingston council.
With hardwood slats stretching to the ground as “skirts”, some of the seats and benches installed at the community centre were connected by these modules to form a crooked array.
The finished product blends perfectly with the new facility which includes a digitally-focused community library and a Maternal and Child Care Centre.
The Westall Hub provides a range of much needed services to meet the demands of the growing community in Kingston’s north. In the future, the hub will also include a number of multi-use consulting rooms, group rooms, a community kitchen as well as offices and reception areas.
