From high quality street and park furniture to the relaxing rhythm of an acoustic guitar and saxophone, Furphy expands with an exciting new venue
Hot-on-the-heels of hosting hundreds of people in the Furphy Watering Hole during the Melbourne Cup Carnival, Little Creatures brewing launched the Furphy Hall within their Geelong Brewery Village in November.
The restored warehouse is now a beautifully designed venue, where music, comedy and sporting gigs will be held in the future.
The hall is decked out with plenty of Furphy history including the iconic Furphy water cart tank ends and images of the Furphy manufacturing tradition dating back to 1864.
Furphy Foundry Managing Director Sam Furphy assisted with the launch of the exciting new venue and said, “it is wonderful to see so many of the Furphy family attend the opening in what is a wonderful addition to the Little Creatures brewery site and the Geelong food and entertainment scene”.
“While our spiritual home is Shepparton, where our manufacturing business continues today, it is wonderful to see the continued growth and popularity of the Furphy Beer and the development of this new venue in Geelong.
“I would urge anyone to experience the unique entertainment experience at Little Creatures brewery in Geelong,” said Sam.
